The energy price you will pay

Headline pence-per-kWh is rarely the whole story. ChargeSort works out the cost of the charge you need — your car, your connector, your current battery level — including connection and overstay fees where operators charge them.

How long you will really be there

A 150 kW charger does not give every car 150 kW. Time is estimated from your car's own charging curve and the battery level you are starting from, so a cheap charger that takes an hour longer does not look like a bargain.

See which bays are free, in use, or out of service — every reading carries the time it was last seen. We refresh status roughly every 12 minutes, so we show you the age of the data rather than calling it live.

Common topics

Model downloads require a stable internet connection (~2–7 GB depending on features used). Transcription with advanced models may take longer than the recording duration — this is normal for on-device processing.

ChargeSort — common questions

Availability comes from operator feeds refreshed periodically, not from a live stream, so every reading shows when it was last seen. Where a price shows as unknown, the operator does not publish a rate for that connector — the app will not guess one.
